Hi,
I'm recently doing mapping using Galaxy. I have uoloaded my fastq and reference genome data to galaxy disks via FTP. but i can't load the data to history (to start analysis) via choose FTP files, pleast help me.
I'm having the same problem here. I successfully uploaded a 20Gb file to the FTP server. I can see this file when I logged in, but when I try to import the data to history, the connection was lost. I tried it last night and this morning many times. And I'm sure there is nothing wrong with my internet connection.
I am have had the same problem since Saturday afternoon. Earlier on in the week there was a notice posted on this website that there would be server maintenance on September 20th(?) if I remember correctly, and I thought this was the explanation for the problem. I get the message "The connection was reset". I loaded 4 of my big files using Filezilla and the smallest one directly from my desktop.
Yes i remembered, i think this might be the reason. It's just wired that this has last for 3 days till now(still not working now)
How do you mean you can't upload? Do the files show up and don't upload or do they not show up at all?
What FTP server do you use? And are you using the main galaxy, usegalaxy.org?
I upload my data to usegalaxy.org server using Cyberduck FTP application. I log into the server using the email and password associated with galaxy and then upload and this always works.
I loaded the files via FileZilla and they show up in the main pageusegalaxy.org), but i can't add them to history (to start analysis)
Same here. FTP transfer is working, but importing the files to the history is not.
I'm having the same problem. I can upload files to the Galaxy ftp but I can't then import them into a history. I also can't directly upload from my computer.
Is it really caused by the maintainence which started 2 days ago? i'm really confused.
The same for me since after the maintenance.
Also downloading a larger file with Chrome does not succeed due to interruptions.
I remember similar problems after the previous maintenance during a couple of days.
Previous maintainence? you mean this time or another maintainence before this one?
I am not able to upload files either - from the FTP or directly from my computer. Doesn't seem to make a difference whether the file is a tab or fasta one.
The maintenance before this one.
