Dear Galaxy team, I'm using Galaxy Main to run paired-end RNAseq data. I'm a new user and I'm in trouble. I have a total of four set of data to compare: 2 negative controls and two samples. I uploaded already three complete histories (as fastq files) which were around 70 Gb each (MBO11, MBO12 and MBO13). I need to upload the last history (MBO14) but unfortunately I just started and apparently I cannot go further 'cause I've used already 100% of my space. Could you suggest please me a way to go on? Hi Monica, From your description, moving to a cloud instance is going to be your best solution: http://usegalaxy.org/cloud If you have questions as you are getting set up, these are best directed at the galaxy-dev@bx.psu.edu mailing list. Hi, I started using Galaxy on the cloud, but later I decided to install a local instance. You can check it out here http://wiki.g2.bx.psu.edu/Admin/Get%20Galaxy If you have a reasonable computer probably you can run gene expression analysis (tophat, cufflinks etc) locally. My local instance is way faster than the public Galaxy server. I have an I7 2600k sandy bridge overclocked to 4.2Ghz, 32 Gb DDR3 1600, GTX 570 fermi, and lots of hard drive space. You can install one of the free Linux distributions (like Ubuntu or Fedora along with Windows and have dual boot) or if you have a Mac you can also use it too. If you gonna use it only once, maybe a cloud instance is the easiest way to get it done, as Jennifer suggested.
