Hi,

I am installing Galaxy in computer1 which is having good RAM and processor, and my all data is in computer2 which is storage system. Both the computers are in network, hence i can ssh.

I wanted Galaxy to link (not copy) all the input from computer2 so that I can run them on computer1.

Is it possible to have input from another system ?

Waiting for Positive reply.

Production instances usually have remote storage mounted as (eg) nfs for the Galaxy nodes. Ideally on a super-fast network. If you haven't ever configured nfs, perhaps google nfs [your linux distro] to figure out how - it varies a lot.

There's the wiki (eg https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Admin/Config/Performance/ProductionServer) once you have your remote storage mounted and working and the galaxy-dev mailing list is probably the best place for getting help running a Galaxy instance.

In terms of linking rather than copying data, administrators can do that into Galaxy libraries. eg https://wiki.galaxyproject.org/Admin/DataLibraries/UploadingLibraryFiles?highlight=%28link%29%7C%28files%29%7C%28library%29
