Hello, I installed a local galaxy instance and then modified galaxy.ini so that I could login to admin and install various galaxy shed tools. All worked well! My question concerns who has access to my uploaded files while I'm logged into my local instance Admin? I'm assuming that since I'm logged in locally that my uploaded files are strictly local, correct? I want to maintain these files as strictly used by my admin instance only. Could you verify?

Through Galaxy only you as the one who uploaded the files have access to it. If the Galaxy has other admins they could also be able to access it (e.g.when you have the impersonation configuration enabled).
Also depending on where your Galaxy stores the files (configurable) whoever has access to that file system has also access to all files.
Also: keep your Galaxy up to date to keep its security top notch.
Thanks for the response ! To configure the storage file path, do you set this in galaxy.ini? It appears you can set the file_path for the location as to where the datasets are stored, but I'm not certain where to change that location.
