Question: Pulsar architecture tips

Hi :),

We are actually trying to find a solution to avoid File Sharing System between our Galaxy (server) and the cluster which should run our (galaxy) jobs.

We found out Pulsar could fit in our needs but we are not allowed to install Pulsar on the cluster.

So...how do you think we could manage this? Is there some configuration to do in Pulsar to install it on a server and allow the magic to happen between Galaxy and the cluster?

Hi Bjoern!

Thanks for taking the time to answer to my question. IT did not want to install Pulsar on the Cluster directly (It makes sense),

We now found a way to make it work: IT provided us a Cluster Submit Node in a VM and we installed Pulsar on it. Pulsar uses DRMAA/LSF ;).
