Question: multiple entries in tool panel

Hi,

 

I have a tool installed via the toolshed that I would like to appear in 2 different section of my tool panel. The tool definition appears in the shed_tool_conf.xml file. 

 

My understanding was that shed_tool_conf.xml and tool_conf.xml were merged in integrated_tool_panel.xml when starting the instance. I have tried to modified that last file but it kept being overwritten when I restart the instance. I am confused about which files I am supposed to edit to make that possible, if it is at all.
